GETQA offers two different types of certification: Silver and Gold.
A teacher is able to receive Silver or Gold Certification for either Academic or Skill-based instruction.
Silver and Gold Certification is applicable for teaching both children and adults.
What is Academic based instruction? |
Academic based instruction is experience with teaching school subjects in English (e.g. Math, Science, English Langauge, etc.). Teachers are able to specify which subject they want certification for on the application form. |
What is Skill-based instruction? |
Skill-based instruction is experience with instruction in teachable skills in English (e.g. Sports, Music, Dance, etc.). Teachers are able to specify which skill they want certification for on the application form. |
Silver Certification is the basic certification for all GETQA applicants. It is ideal for newer teachers as the hour requirements are lower. All requirements are listed below. |
